BRANDON HOUSE REDEVELOPMENT (BOROUGH HIGH STREET, LONDON, SE1) THREATENS LOCAL PARKS AND SCHOOL PLAYGROUND.

Brandon House is being redeveloped. The current planning application would mean that a building almost TWICE as high covering a much larger area will be built. We have until the 28th JANUARY to comment on the application. IF this planning application succeeds, the building will result in:

DRAMATIC INCREASE OF OVERSHADOWING TO LITTLE DORRIT PARK AND THE SCHOOL PLAYGROUND:

- Children will no longer be playing in sunlight in the winter months.
- Trees and plants will suffer.
- The ground will remain frosty and icy for longer in winter.

ADDITIONAL PARKING STRESS:

- 130 new flats but NO dedicated parking solution.

LOSS OF HISTORIC VIEWS TO THE CHURCH:

- St. George the Martyr's clock and spire almost completely obscured.
- Loss of important way-finder and historic landmark.

ACT NOW TO SAVE THE QUALITY OF OUR PARKS AND OUR AREA!
